The forward of the French national team and the leader of the English Premier League club is ready to return to the team this week.
The 28-year-old forward, who has already scored 8 goals in the English league this season, has recovered from the ankle injury he suffered at the beginning of March and will be able to play in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Roma.
The French player, who has not played for a month, has fully recovered and is eager to play football, although he has not yet fully regained his fitness.
"I don't think I could be any healthier," the forward told "The Mirror". "This year I missed a few games and now I have a lot of energy that I want to show on the field. I feel like I have something to prove again. I really want to play and score goals."
"The club is in a very good position and what we have achieved in the last six months is simply fantastic. Everyone plays with confidence that we will defend well against opponents' attacks and perform well in the attack. But we cannot say that all the work is done until we win the Premier League. If that doesn't happen, six months of hard work will go to waste. We have to win trophies and only then will we finish the job we started," added the French legionnaire.
Despite the forward being fully recovered and able to play in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final, the head coach Sir Alex Ferguson is ready not to include L. Saha in the starting lineup against Roma.
If L. Saha does not travel to the Italian capital, he will be ready to play in the team's reserve match against Blackburn on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Scottish defender Darren Fletcher has quickly recovered from the ankle injury he suffered in February, gradually regaining his fitness by playing in the Manchester United reserve team.
