Bayern Munich continues to collect points on the local front.
In Saturday afternoon's Bundesliga match, Bavarians suffered a 3-1 defeat to Mainz away from home.
Thomas Tuchel's proteges took the lead in this match. In the 29th minute, Sadio Mane scored after a successful pass from Joao Cancelo.
However, Mainz players did not give up and scored three goals in the second half.
In the 65th minute, Ludovic Ajorque equalized the score, while in the 73rd and 79th minutes, the visitors' goalkeeper was beaten by Leandro Barreiro Martins and Aaron Martin.
Bayern still remains in the first position in the league table, leading the lower-ranked Borussia by two points. However, Borussia has played one less game.
