The 2021-2022 season was not successful for the Parisian team "Saint Germain".
Once again, the team failed to achieve great success in European tournaments, and the club management was unable to avoid significant financial losses.
As reported by "Calcio Finanza", it has now been revealed in published documents that during the season PSG's expenses exceeded 1 billion euros for the first time.
Meanwhile, the incurred losses reached a sum of 370 million euros. This is also a club record.
Compared to the previous season (2020-2021), PSG increased its expenses the most for players and staff (+45%, up to 729 million).
Over the past three seasons, PSG has suffered a total loss of 717 million euros.
