In the second division of the German league, Düsseldorf's "Fortuna" team decided to pleasantly surprise their loyal fans.

Starting from next fall, the club plans to allow fans to enter the stadium for free.

However, the 2023-2024 season will be a trial period, and supporters will have the chance to attend three home matches without purchasing a ticket. If everything goes according to plan, the number of free matches in the future will increase even more.

The "Fortuna" team plays in a 54,600-seat arena, with an average of 29.3 thousand fans attending each game.

This means that the club collects around 7-8 million euros from tickets per season, and these funds will have to be raised from other areas in the future.

According to the leaders of "Fortuna," the procedure for accessing the free matches will be very simple - fans will be able to register on the website, and one person can order up to five tickets.
