Towards the end of the half, Marcus Rashford doubled his team's advantage.
Tottenham started the second half much better, and it paid off - Pedro Porro reduced the deficit in the 56th minute.
Immediately after the conceded goal, Man Utd could have restored their two-goal advantage, but Bruno Fernandes' shot hit the crossbar.
Tottenham did not give up and Son Heung-Min equalized in the 79th minute.
