Marijampolė's team signed a contract with Brazilian player Villeriu Oliveira, who participated in the trial.
This defender is 27 years old and has played in Russia for the past few seasons. Last year, he represented Vladivostok's "Luch-Energia", which is currently competing in the highest division of Russian football.
V.S. Oliveira scored a winning goal for "Sūduva" in a friendly match against "Vilnium" last week, where Marijampolė's team won 1-0.
"Sūduva" will begin the A league season on Saturday with a home match against "Šilutė".
