On Monday evening, an important match took place in Leicester for survival in the Premier League.
Leicester City and Everton shared points - 2:2.
The visitors from Liverpool started the match very well. In the 15th minute, Dominic Calvert-Lewin put the visitors ahead.
In the 22nd minute, Leicester City players took advantage of their first opportunity. Caglar Soyuncu equalized the score, and soon Jamie Vardy turned the result in favor of his team.
At the end of the first half, Calvert-Lewin and Vardy had great chances within one minute, but neither attacker was able to score. Meanwhile, Seamus Coleman suffered a serious leg injury and had to be stretchered off.
James Maddison had the opportunity to convert a penalty kick, but Jordan Pickford saved the rather poor attempt from the attacking midfielder.
At the start of the second half, Everton equalized the score after a goal from Alex Iwobi.
There were no more goals in the remaining time of the match, and the teams shared a point, which only slightly helps the teams fighting for survival.
