„West Ham“ team is preparing for a possible departure of their leader Declan Rice.
The 24-year-old defender has not signed a new contract with the team and is set to become a free agent in the summer of 2024.
That is why the „Hammers“ may be forced to part ways with the talent much earlier by selling him to another club.
According to „The Athletic“, after receiving a huge compensation (up to 100 million pounds sterling), the „West Ham“ team would make an irresistible offer for the „Marseille“ representative Matteo Guendouzi.
The 24-year-old Frenchman already has experience in the „Premier“ League, as he previously wore the colors of the „Arsenal“ team.
In this „Ligue 1“ season, he scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists in over 30 matches.
