“Watford” club is nearing an agreement with a new head coach.
According to “The Athletic”, negotiations are advanced with Valerien Ismael.
47-year-old Valerien Ismael already has experience in the Championship. The specialist reached the playoffs with “Barnsley” in the 2020-21 season, fighting for a ticket to the Premier League.
Then, the Frenchman moved to “West Brom” team last summer, where the project lasting 6 months did not justify itself.
The former center-back could be the 20th coach of “Watford” in 9.5 years.
