Bayern Munich secured an important victory in the race for the Bundesliga title. The Bavarians crushed Schalke 6-0 at home.
In the first half, Thomas Muller and Joshua Kimmich scored goals in the 21st and 29th minutes respectively.
Meanwhile, in the second half, Serge Gnabry added a brace to his tally, and Mathys Telas and Noussair Mazraoui also added goals of their own.
After these matches, Bayern remains in the top position of the league table, leading the lower-ranked Borussia by four points. However, the Dortmund team has played one less game.
