The defender of the Spanish national team and club, Vicente, will not be able to help his team in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals against London's "Chelsea" on April 10th due to injury.

The 25-year-old footballer had to leave the field during the first leg match against "Chelsea" on Wednesday, which ended in a 1-1 draw, in the 58th minute due to a suspected torn calf muscle in his left leg.

It is believed that the Spaniard will be unable to play for at least a month. Recently, the player has been plagued by constant long-term injuries and has appeared in just three matches this season in the UEFA Champions League, including the match against "Chelsea".

Furthermore, Vicente will miss two very important matches in the Spanish league against "Sevilla" and Madrid's "Real".

"I just recovered from previous injuries and joined the team, but I suffered another injury at the worst possible moment," said the disappointed Spaniard.

"We will know more tomorrow, but it looks like he tore a muscle," said a Valencia spokesperson to the press.

Managed by Quique-Sanchez Flores, the "bats" in the Spanish "Primera" league are in 4th place with 50 points, just one point behind the higher-ranked Real Madrid club.
