On Tuesday, the first participant of the UEFA Champions League final was revealed.
In the second leg semi-final match at the "San Siro" stadium, the clubs "Inter" and "Milan" battled it out, and the first clash of eternal rivals ended with a 2-0 victory for Simone Inzaghi's team.
The home team managed to once again defeat the "Rossoneri" (1-0) and secure their place in the prestigious tournament final with an overall score of 3-0.
At the beginning of the match, Theo Hernandez and Nicolo Barella exchanged inaccurate shots.
In the 11th minute, Brahim Diaz had a great opportunity, but his shot was saved by Andre Onana.
At the end of the first half, Edin Dzeko missed his chance as Mike Maignan stopped his attack.
In the 74th minute, the only goal of the match fell. Lautaro Martinez received a pass from Romelu Lukaku in the penalty area and directed the ball into the net.
The victorious "Inter" team will await their future opponent in the final, which will be determined after Wednesday's second leg match between "Man City" and Madrid's "Real" clubs.
