On Sunday evening, in the last and decisive "Premier" league round, "Everton" defeated "Bournemouth" with a score of 1:0 at home. This victory secured "The Toffees" survival in the English top flight.

In the first half, neither team created many dangerous opportunities and the players went into the break with a goalless scoreboard.

The only goal of the match came in the 57th minute. Abdoulaye Doucoure scored with a fantastic shot from the edge of the penalty area.

"Everton" finished the season in 17th place, two and five points ahead of "Leicester City" and "Leeds United" respectively, who were fighting for survival until the last round. "Leicester" and "Leeds" will have to play in the second tier of English football next season.
