In the last game of the 2022/23 season of the "Premier" League, "Chelsea" played a 1:1 draw with "Newcastle" at home.
Both goals of the match were scored in the first half. In the 9th minute, "Sharks" took the lead through Anthony Gordon, but "Chelsea" managed to equalize after 27 minutes when the ball was sent into their own net by Newcastle defender Kevin Trippier.
In the second half, Frank Lampard's pupils were more active, but they were unable to capitalize on their chances.
"Newcastle" finished the season in fourth place. Meanwhile, "Chelsea" ended their suffering in twelfth place.
