Jose Luis Mendilibaras finally saved the "Sevilla" team from a disastrous season.
The 62-year-old coach joined the club in March. Since then, the Sevilla team has escaped relegation from the "La Liga" championship and reached the final of the Europa League.
Tomorrow, J. Luis Mendilibaras will try to lead the team to triumph in the Europa League.
"History does not lie, over the last 20 years "Sevilla" has been the best team in this tournament. Trophies are proof of this. Fans are not satisfied with good performances - they want the Europa League trophy. We had a wonderful journey, and tomorrow we will play against a different team. I am confident that it will be a good game," said the Spaniard at a press conference.
"Both teams will give everything to win. In such a situation, budgets of the teams do not matter. The most important thing in such important matches is not to make mistakes.
"Roma" has no problems defending when we attack. They know how to play properly on both sides of the field. "Roma" is a tough opponent, they know how to keep their nerves as the match becomes more intense."
The coach should secure his position for the next season as well.
