One of the most iconic football players of all time, Zlatan Ibrahimović, has retired.
In the last "Serie A" match of the season, "AC Milan" beat "Verona" 3:1, and after everything, players and the club paid tribute to the 41-year-old leader.
Z. Ibrahimović struggled to hold back tears during the ceremony.
In 2019, the striker returned to "AC Milan" and since then, the legendary club managed to win the "Scudetto" and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
However, this year the veteran's contribution was very small. He played only 4 matches in the "Serie A" championship, during which he scored one goal.
"AC Milan" fans marked the occasion with a "GodBye" poster, signifying farewell.
During his career, Z. Ibrahimović played for "Malmo", "Ajax", "Juventus", "Inter", "Barcelona", "AC Milan", PSG, "Manchester United", and Los Angeles "Galaxy".
The legendary striker scored 405 goals.
