In the Baltic League, the matches of Latvian and Estonian teams started in the 5th round of the competition. In the only match on Tuesday in the Estonian capital, Tallinn, the local team "Flora" played against Riga's "Skonto". A dramatic victory was achieved, and the "Skonto" club rose to first place in Group D and secured a place in the knockout rounds.

In order to seriously compete for the first place in Group D, "Skonto" had to defeat the last-placed team "Flora", who had not yet earned any points. Although the result remained unchanged for a large part of the match, the Latvian guests managed to snatch the victory after Aleksejs Višnakovs' goal in the third minute of added time.

Lithuanian player Tomas Sirevičius did not play in the game for "Flora". After this victory, "Skonto" with 8 points overtook Vilnius' "Vėtra", who had played one less match, and climbed to the top position in the group.

On Wednesday, in other matches of the 5th round, "Ventspils" will face Tallinn's "TVMK" and Tallinn's "Levadia" will play against Liepaja's "Metalurgs".
