“Manchester United” head coach Erik ten Hag stood in front of the club's desire to sell Victor Lindelof.
“Bild” reports that the 28-year-old Swede was supposed to be sold to Frankfurt's “Eintracht”, but such a deal was vetoed by the “Man Utd” strategist.
It is added that “United” and “Eintracht” agreed in January on the defender's transfer, but Victor Lindelof's very successful end to the season changed E. ten Hag's position.
The Swede still has a year left on his contract, however, “Man Utd” has the option to extend it for another season.
