Milan's "Inter" after an impressive season experienced disappointment in the Champions League final. The Italian team was defeated by "Manchester City" footballers in the final 0:1.
After Rodri's goal in the middle of the second half, "Nerazzurri" had several chances to equalize the score, but the chances were wasted.
A particularly memorable moment was when Romelu Lukaku's header was saved by Ederson. The Belgian could have sent the ball almost anywhere, but it flew straight into the feet of the "Man City" goalkeeper.
After the match, "Inter" striker Lautaro Martinez said: "Even Ederson himself doesn't know how he saved that Lukaku header."
The Argentine added that he is proud of his team:
"Since I joined the 'Inter' team, I have only lost the final of the Europa League, and since then we have won important titles. Today we played in the Champions League final after a very difficult journey.
Until the last minute, we fought with 'Manchester City'. We deserved more, but in such matches, everything is decided by details. We are disappointed, but at the same time proud of our accomplishment," said the striker.
