Milan's "Inter" lost the Champions League final yesterday, but team strategist Simone Inzaghi praised his players.
After the match, the head coach said: "I praised the guys, they were amazing, they played a great game. We lost the final that we wanted to win at all costs. However, they should be proud of themselves. I wouldn't change these players for anything else and today the whole world saw why.
We conceded very few chances against a strong team. There are things to regret, but we have to be proud of ourselves. Just like our fans, I hugged everyone.
We had a wonderful journey to this final, but we saw everything on the field. We all know City's abilities. It hurts, but the journey in the Champions League was exceptional, and when we played such a final, we aimed to return here, as we are capable of it. We played 57 matches this season, some were exceptional," said S. Inzaghi.
