One of the most famous footballers of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo, is admired by fans not only for his unique performances on the field.
For some time now, the Portuguese player has been celebrating goals by shouting the famous chant "Siuuuu" and has now decided to reveal its origin.
It seems that this has now grown into a global phenomenon and I like it when I see other players performing the same goal celebration. When people send videos of other sports stars or even children shouting the chant - it's just wonderful. It seems very simple, but at the same time very powerful.
When I was playing for Real Madrid, I started saying "si", which means "yes" in Portuguese.
We were playing against Chelsea in the US and I can't even say exactly how this celebration came about.
I just scored a goal and it happened like that. Everything happened naturally. Since then, I started celebrating like this more often and I saw that fans started repeating "Cristiano, siiiiuuu".
I thought, "oh", people remember me because of this. It was so cool that I continued this tradition," said C. Ronaldo.
