Discussions lasting more than half a year regarding the transfer of England's national team and Munich are being provoked by Owen Hargreaves, with the president of the German club Franz Beckenbauer stating that the player could be sold to an English club this summer.
Although German clubs have so far hindered O. Hargreaves from leaving the club in any way and refused to negotiate his transfer, the club has now slightly softened its stance.
"If there is an offer of 25-30 million euros, I would seriously consider it," said F. Beckenbauer in an interview with a German television station. "I think the club's board thinks similarly and will satisfy the player's requests."
The Englishman has long been attracting the attention of "Man Utd", and the player himself has expressed a desire to play in England several times.
However, so far "Bayern" has refused to negotiate with the leaders of the "Premier" league, offering the player to respect the four-year contract signed last summer.
O. Hargreaves himself stated that he would "discuss his future with the Bayern management in the near future."
