On Thursday, London team coach Jose Mourinho stated that he would like to bring back Argentine national team and Milan striker Hernan Crespo for the next season.
Although the future of the strategist in the current team is unclear, according to "The Sun" newspaper, J. Mourinho is already thinking about the team composition for the next season, and "Chelsea" has the opportunity to bring back the player after this season.
At the beginning of next year, "Chelsea" will most likely have to cope without Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou, who will be participating in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Meanwhile, the Italian press reports that H. Crespo, who did not fit into life in England, would not want to return to his former team, with which he won the Premier League last season, and his agent is trying to keep the player in Milan's "Inter" team.
"I understand Crespo's story from a human perspective, but business is business," J. Mourinho said in an interview with "The Sun."
"Crespo belongs to us, and we need a striker. I am sure I will lose Drogba and Kalou, who will go to play in the Africa Cup of Nations, so I need a striker like Crespo in the 'Chelsea' team," the Portuguese clarified his decision.
J. Mourinho claims that he also discussed his plans with the club owner Roman Abramovich, with whom there is believed to be discord, and with chairman Peter Kenyon.
