The French champion has already started preparing for the upcoming season. Yesterday, the club officially announced the acquisition of two players - Eric Abidal and Pier-Alain Frau. The former signed a five-year contract, while the latter signed for four years.
The 25-year-old defender Abidal returned to play in his hometown of Lyon. It is believed that "Lyon" paid 5 million euros for him. In the team, Abidal will replace the Belgian Eric Deflandre, who recently moved to the Belgian club "Standard".
Frau was one of the leaders this season. The forward stood out with 17 goals and helped the team win the French league cup. The transfer fee for him is currently undisclosed.
