On Sunday, in the first A League home match of the season, the team from Šiauliai crushed the Visaginas "Interas" football players 4-1 after a long break from the league, and the head coach of the Šiauliai team, Darius Magdišauskas, had only good words for the team's newcomer from Ukraine, Viktor Raskov, who scored three goals.

"Are the Šiauliai team four times better than 'Interas'? I don't think so. Today Šiauliai won, but there will be other matches and everything can change. The main reason for our loss was the mistakes of our defenders, which should not have happened," said Ivanas Švabovičius, the head coach of "Interas."
