“Manchester United” finally welcomed their first new team member.
On Wednesday, it was officially announced that the team was joined by Mason Mount from London's “Chelsea”.
The 24-year-old Englishman was paid around 55 million pounds sterling by the “Red Devils”.
The player himself signed a five-year contract and there is also an option to extend it for another season.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with Erik ten Hag. It is not easy to leave my childhood team, but 'Man Utd' is a great step in my future career.
I can't wait to join the team and compete for trophies together,” M. Mount said after signing the contract.
