As famous Portuguese football pundit Zach Lowy said, it is unlikely that a star of the caliber of Angel Di Maria has ever come to play in Portugal, especially in recent years.
Di Maria officially returned to Lisbon's "Benfica" club after 13 years.
Just 7 months ago, the 35-year-old forward was named the best player of the match in the World Cup final, and now he arrives in Portugal to finish his career.
Moreover, he was wonderfully welcomed by his supporters.
"I had many proposals, but I had the desire and enthusiasm to return home. I made a decision from my heart," said A. Di Maria.
