On Saturday evening, the European U-21 championship ended at the "Batumi" stadium.
In the tournament final held in Georgia, the under-21 teams of England and Spain clashed.
As usual in decisive matches, there was no lack of emotions - the referee showed a total of 11 yellow cards and two red cards.
The only goal in the match was scored by the English, when at the end of the first half C. Jones scored accurately - 1:0.
The Spaniards tried to retaliate, but their efforts were in vain - not even the 90+9 min penalty awarded by the referee helped, as it was saved by the unstoppable J. Trafford.
The latter goalkeeper became a true star of the tournament, as he did not concede a single goal in six matches.
