Declan Rice was officially introduced into the ranks of London's "Arsenal".
The most expensive British player of all time, for whom the "Gunners" paid 100 million pounds sterling, praised the entire team's coach and manager, Mikel Arteta, in his first interview.
D. Rice stated: "Over the past few seasons, I have watched Arsenal and the trajectory they are on. Before last season, they were fifth, but even then you could see the playing style that Mikel (Arteta) wants. Last season was amazing, they easily defeated practically every team, except for Manchester City."
"Mikel meant a lot to me, the work he does with the players, the young energy in the club, and the desire to bring Arsenal back to where they belong. I imagine the fans really want that. I come to this club very hungry, wanting to achieve a lot and spend my best years at this club.
I am very happy - his work speaks for itself. It's clear to see how he works, the 'Amazon' documentary also showed a lot about how he works with players, not just as a coach. It showed how good he is from a psychological perspective, working with players," praised the 24-year-old Englishman.
