Naby Keita continues to suffer from injury problems.
Bremen's "Werder" club announced that the team's newcomer will miss the start of the Bundesliga season.
The 28-year-old Guinean midfielder suffered an injury before a friendly match with the "Oldenburg" team. He was then substituted before the match, even though he was in the starting eleven.
This summer, Keita left "Liverpool" and joined the "Werder" team as a free agent.
The Bremen club will start their season with a match at home against Munich's "Bayern".
