“Chelsea” defender Wesley Fofana continues to be haunted by misfortune.
The London club announced that the 22-year-old defender underwent a successful operation after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament.
Last season, the Frenchman also suffered a painful injury. He has experienced a similar injury (a broken leg) when he was still playing for “Leicester City”.
This year, W. Fofana is likely to miss out on the pitch.
“Chelsea” is in the market for a center-back, but they will not rush if they do not find a suitable option for a short-term replacement.
