The Vilnius team "Žalgiris", as expected, will receive huge support from fans in the UEFA Champions League qualification match against Istanbul's "Galatasaray".
On Friday morning, at the start of the second phase of advance ticket sales, it became clear that the public ticket market would be like a swarm of bees.
At lunchtime, there were only a few dozen tickets left in the ticket system. The cheapest cost 25 euros (for the active fans' supporters sector), while others ranged from 30 to 45 euros.
Before the start of sales, "Žalgiris" made every effort to minimize the number of fans from the Turkish team entering the stadium: two advance ticket sales phases were formed, tickets could only be purchased using Lithuanian bank cards, and before the match, the stadium gates security will check the identity documents of all match participants.
