The second derby of this A League season in Vilnius ended in a draw again - in a fierce match, "Vėtra" and "Žalgiris" shared a point with a score of 1-1. "Vėtra" took the lead after Lima Severino's goal in the 18th minute, but in the middle of the second half, "Žalgiris" defender Edvinas Lukoševičius leveled the score.

The match was more active from the start by the guests of "Žalgiris" football players, and the first threats to the "Vėtra" goal came from Julijanas Bursukas shooting wide and Edvinas Lukoševičius heading wide after a corner. In the 15th minute, "Vėtra" goalkeeper Vaidas Žutautas made a mistake, but soon had to correct it by saving Nikolajus Misiukas's shot, and as the attack continued, Raimondas Vilėniškis shot from a great position over the goal.
In the 18th minute, "Vėtra" broke through. After a precise pass from Julius Raliukonis, Lima Severino stopped the ball in the penalty area and with a precise shot into the corner of the goal beat "Žalgiris" goalkeeper Ernestas Šetkus. Just a few minutes later, the hosts could have doubled the lead when Gediminas Butrimavičius confused opponents in the middle of the field and passed the ball towards the goal, but Vitalis Stankevičius's header was saved by E.Šetkus.
In the 22nd minute, "Vėtra" coach Aleksandras Tarchanovas had to make a forced substitution, and Egidijus Juška took the field instead of Marijan Budimir. "Žalgiris" went on the attack and tried to equalize, but J.Bursukas missed from close range, and N.Misiukas's head strike rebounded off the crossbar of "Vėtra" goal.
In the final part of the first half, the game of the teams became more passive and they often tried their luck with long-range shots. In the 33rd minute, a dangerous free-kick by R.Vilėniškis was saved by V.Žutautas, later J.Bursukas's shot missed the target, and A.Jankauskas hit straight at visitor's goalkeeper E.Šetkus. The first half ended with "Vėtra" leading 1-0.
After the break, "Žalgiris" attacked more to equalize the score, and after a few minutes of chaos in the penalty area, Igoris Morinas' shot was cleared off the goal line by "Vėtra". Soon after, E.Lukoševičius shot wide from distance, and in the 60th minute he scored the second goal of the match - rising for a corner, "Žalgiris" defender headed the ball into the net.
Three minutes later, "Vėtra" defenders managed to block a dangerous shot by J.Bursukas, and shortly after in the opposite end of the field after the host's attack, "Žalgiris" goalkeeper E.Šetkus had to push away a deflected ball from his own players.
Later, "Vėtra" defender G.Butrimavičius shot from distance, "Žalgiris" forward Igoris Morinas missed a header, and V.Žutautas caught a header from R.Vilėniškis.
Despite efforts from both teams, the result remained unchanged - "Vėtra" and "Žalgiris" shared a point in the capital derby.
