“Kauno Žalgiris” still has a chance to fight for a place in the third round of the Conference League qualifiers.

In the second qualifying round, Marius Stankevičius' players lost 1:3 to Poznan's “Lech”, and now the action will move to Kaunas.

10 minutes in, the Lithuanians conceded the first goal. Dino Hotičius scored with a header.

At the end of the half, “Kauno Žalgiris” suffered two more goals. Antonio Miličiaus and Radoslaw Murawskio's goals made the score a tough 0:3.

However, the Žalgiris players significantly improved in the second half and left some intrigue before the second leg.

Antonas Fase scored a great goal in the 56th minute, but there were no more goals in the remaining match time.
