The Paris Saint-Germain team did not give up on their plans to take advantage of the good conditions to acquire Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.
As various foreign portals have reported, the Ligue 1 champions did not manage to activate the player's 50 million euro buyout clause by August 1.
Nevertheless, PSG sent a formal letter to the Catalan team to activate the "private condition," which also guarantees the player's transfer for 50 million euros.
This happened because the player himself had previously asked Barcelona to let him speak with the French team.
Now PSG must complete the deal in the next five days.
This transfer will bring significant losses to the Barcelona team, as they had hoped to sell O. Dembele for 100 million euros.
