J.Baptista: "The Air in England is Killing Me" © EuroFootball.com

Julio Baptista's future at the London team hung by a hair after the Brazilian admitted his inability to adapt to the English way of life, weather conditions, and playing style.

Currently, the 26-year-old forward belonging to Madrid is loaned out to the end of the season. Meanwhile, in the Spanish capital, "Arsenal" defender Jose Antonio Reyes is playing under the same agreement.

"The weather in England is killing me. One day it's sunny, but then it rains for 30 days in a row," J.Baptista didn't hide his disappointment. "My girlfriend and mom can't get used to practically not seeing the sun. They miss Madrid."

"The Premier League is also tough. I like to play smart, but here everything happens so fast that there's no time to think."

The footballer also stated that in the summer he would like to return to Spain, and didn't hesitate to criticize "Arsenal's" main rivals.

"There's a possibility to stay in London, but for now, I can't say for sure where I'll play next season.

"But I have no doubt that I would take the opportunity to try to establish myself at 'Real' team once again. This time I would be more mature."

J.Baptista also added: "The teams from North England are terrible. When we play against them, I count about 30 high passes by midfielders across the entire field.

"Just stopping for a moment to think about what to do next, a defender comes and takes the ball, and you end up on the grass.

"Also, here a corner kick is valued more than a beautiful and flashy deceptive move. At least it's good that 'Arsenal' is a team that tries to play proper football."
