London team defender Danny Gabbidon will most likely not return to the field this season. The footballer will undergo groin surgery again. A similar operation was performed on him in the middle of January. D.Gabbidon started training just a few weeks ago, but the injury has resurfaced again.
Officially, it is not yet announced whether the footballer will play this season, but the Welsh Football Association does not doubt that in the European Championship qualifiers against the Czech Republic in June, they will have to cope without D.Gabbidon.
After the first operation, the healthy 27-year-old defender hoped to play in the last 2 or 3 matches of the season, but his plans were not meant to materialize. This season, Velas represented his club in 20 matches.
D.Gabbidon, who plays as a center-back, arrived at "West Ham" in 2005 from the Welsh "Cardiff City" team.
