Romeo Lavia – another player who chose Chelsea over the Liverpool team.

The Athletic journalist David Ornstein reports that Chelsea is soon to reach an agreement with Southampton and acquire the 19-year-old defensive midfielder.

The deal is worth 50 million pounds sterling, not including bonuses.

On Sunday evening, the "aristocrats" agreed with Brighton on the choice of Moises Caicedo. He cost 115 million pounds, including bonuses. The Ecuadorian also chose to represent Chelsea, despite Liverpool's interest.

The "Reds" are looking for other defensive midfielders in the market.
