Club coach Sir Alex Ferguson says that the contribution of Alan Smith, who returned to the field after a serious injury, is very significant.
The 26-year-old striker did not play for 14 months when he broke his leg in a match against Liverpool last summer.
"He is absolutely incredible. Alan's form in his last three matches is impressive. Returning to the team, he brought a lot of freshness and contagious enthusiasm," praised the "Man Utd" coach the recovered footballer.
In his first return match, A. Smith scored a goal in the Champions League quarter-final against Roma, where "Man Utd" wiped out their opponents 7-1. Later, the former Leeds striker successfully played in the Premier League victorious matches against Watford and Sheffield Utd.
