Milan's „Inter“ footballers beat „Monza“ 2:0.
The first goal came in the 8th minute when the visitors failed to handle the pressure, losing the ball and allowing N. Barella to make an impressive pass to D. Dumfries, who then passed to Lautaro Martinez in the penalty area, and he directed the ball into the goal.
The second half started more actively for „Monza“ footballers, who created several dangerous opportunities, but failed to convert them into goals.
Milan's „Inter“ also had some dangerous opportunities: Federico Dimarco took a shot from distance near the goal, and Hakan Calhanoglu dangerously executed a penalty kick.
In the 76th minute, after intercepting the ball in midfield, „Inter“ launched an attack, with newly debuted Marko Arnautovičius making a pass to Lautaro Martinez, who then scored.
Other results:
„Empoli“ 0:1 „Verona“
„Frosinone“ 1:3 „Napoli“
„Genoa“ 1:4 „Fiorentina“
