The Spanish women's football team - world champions. 

In the final of the Women's World Cup, the Spanish women's team defeated England 1-0.

In the 16th minute, Lauren Hemp hit the crossbar. Soon after, the Spanish player Alba Redondo had a great chance to score, but Mary Earps saved the shot.

Spain took the lead in the 29th minute. Olga Carmona scored a goal with a great shot.

In the second half, the Spanish team looked more dominant. In the 69th minute, a penalty was awarded to England, but M. Earps showed heroism once again. Jennifer Hermoso's goal was saved.

During the added 13 minutes, England struggled to create chances and Spain triumphed in the Women's World Cup for the first time in history.
