After the 2-1 victory in the 5th round of the A League against "Šiauliai", both coaches regretted missed opportunities.

"I am completely unsatisfied with the first half of the match," said "Šiauliai" head coach Darius Magdišauskas after the game. "The players didn't fulfill even half of the tasks given to them before the match. In the second half, the game leveled out, we created chances."

"However, those two chances that we didn't capitalize on should have been converted even by children," the coach said. "Vilnius" is a technical and professional team, but I believe we deserved a draw."

When asked about the goalkeeper's performance, the coach was critical: "Yes, Lukovičs played very poorly today, but in the three previous matches, he played very well. I am glad that we have three young and promising goalkeepers who will definitely help us in seeking victories."

Meanwhile, "Vilnius" coach Antanas Vingilys stated that his players relaxed too early.

"We definitely didn't underestimate our opponents, the team came onto the field in a good mood, but they believed in victory too early, so we had many problems in the second half," said A. Vingilys.

"However, the result could have been even bigger, perhaps due to excessive confidence in our abilities, the hundred percent chances were not utilized," said the "Vilnius" strategist. "This will be a good lesson for us, we will draw conclusions that you always need to play two halves - from the first whistle to the last."
