J. Klopp: "I haven't seen anything like it © AFP

"Liverpool" team created a miracle in the English Premier League on Monday, when they managed to defeat the Newcastle footballers despite being in the minority.

"Sharks" took the lead in the 25th minute, and in the 28th minute "Liverpool" captain Virgil van Dijk was sent off the field and it seemed that Liverpool's chances of fighting for points disappeared.

However, at the end of the match, Darwin Nunez appeared on the field and scored a brace, extending his team's sensational victory.

After the match, "Liverpool" coach Jurgen Klopp stated that in his career he has never seen anything similar and insisted that his team created a bigger miracle than when the three-goal advantage of Barcelona was overturned in the UEFA Champions League in 2019.

"I think we can't compare this match to that duel with Barcelona back then. We lost the first match 0:3 away, but played fantastically and knew that we had weapons against Barcelona at home.

The match against Newcastle started very poorly for us. We conceded a goal and lost Virgil van Dijk. However, I can say that after the red card we started playing much better. The opponents found it difficult to create anything.

During the break, we felt that with a bit of luck we could create something special.

We managed to calm the game down, and then Nunez stepped onto the field, delivering a fantastic performance crowned by two goals.

I have worked in more than a thousand matches in my career, but I have never seen anything like this. It's incredible that we were able to do it away. This is a special moment," Klopp said.
