After the successful Women's National Team of Spain's World Championship, to this day there is no lack of passion for the actions of the country's football federation president, Luis Rubiales.

During the medal ceremony, L. Rubiales unexpectedly kissed Spain's national team football player Jennifer Hermoso on the lips, who later publicly spoke about the situation and said she did not like the kiss. Later, in the dressing room, L. Rubiales acted incomprehensibly again when he hugged J. Hermoso and said, "We will celebrate Jenni and Luis Rubiales' wedding in Ibiza." Such incomprehensible actions sparked a lot of reactions in the social space, clubs, and players spoke out.

Later, the president was suspended, and almost the entire women's national team staff resigned. J. Rubiales was given a temporary suspension of 90 days, during which he cannot perform any football-related activities at the national and international level. He is also prohibited from communicating with the Spain national team football players.

The president initially attacked his critics, did not acknowledge his behavior, but later apologized and said that he would defend himself legally against the accusations, "so that the truth would prevail and his complete innocence would be proven."

Some of Spain's most famous footballers expressed their opinions:

Iker Casillas: "These five days, we should dedicate to our country's female footballers! Out of the joy they all gave us! To boast about a title we didn't have in women's football, but..."

Andrés Iniesta clearly expressed his opinion: "After what happened this week, I would like to express my sadness, as a human, as the father of three daughters, as a man, and as a footballer, facing the events that we experienced in football and around the Spanish women's team.

I believe we cannot tolerate such actions as we saw, which tarnished such an important stage as winning the World Championship. I cannot imagine the feeling that all the national team players have now, seeing them not talking about the great tournament and the fantastic football that we all learned. It's a shame that a beautiful history that many players created over the years has become tarnished.

Instead, we had to put up with a president who held his position, who did not acknowledge that his behavior was unacceptable and damaging to the image of our country and our football worldwide."

Sevilla club sent a clear message during the match suspension (written in Spanish on the bibs "it's over"):

In recent days, another story emerged that brought back passions and history to the public. Luis Rubiales's mother declared a hunger strike to defend her son, suffering from "inhuman hunting."

She locked herself in the "Divina Pastora de Motril" church and asked J. Hermoso to "tell the truth" and "stick to the version she held at the beginning of the events."

A sad and very unpleasant story that football should have as little as possible.
