Worldwide clubs have once again improved a significant record for player transfers window before the end of this summer.
It is estimated that important entries in the records books will show that in 2023 clubs collectively spent at least 7.63 billion euros for new players.
The previous record was set in 2019, when financial experts recorded a sum of 7.57 billion euros.
Comparing the two achievements, the most noticeable are the decreased spending of "La Liga" representatives (1.38 billion and 398 million euros) and the "from nowhere" appearance of Saudi Arabian league representatives this year (846 million euros).
The biggest spenders, as usual, remain the English clubs, who managed to further increase the amounts of money allocated to new players.
🚨 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗: The worldwide spending record from 2019 has officially been broken. 🤑🤑
