In the second half of the Spanish championship league table, struggling Sevilla plans to strengthen their attack. Their target is the dissatisfied Munich striker Roque Santa Cruz, who is looking for a new role in the team.
The football player had previously expressed his desire to leave the German club and move to England or Spain, motivated by the lack of playing minutes.
"Spain or England would suit me best," the confident player said. "I want to play, I really miss it and I would like to feel again what it means to be a football player."
Sevilla promises the forward a one-year contract worth 3 million euros.
After Bayern's 2-0 loss to Stuttgart on Sunday, club officials publicly announced that the 25-year-old striker will leave the German champions’ team in the summer.
