Saudi Arabian clubs tried to take advantage of the last opportunities to invite talented newcomers.

Before the closing of the player transfer window in the Middle Eastern country, "Liverpool" executives received a breathtaking offer for forward Mohamed Salah.

As journalist Steve Brenner reported, last night the "Al-Ittihad" team promised the "Premier" league representatives to immediately transfer up to 170 million pounds sterling for the Egyptian. The contract would also include possible add-ons, so the total value of the deal could reach 215 million pounds sterling.

If the "Liverpool" team were tempted by Arab money, M. Salah would become the most expensive player of all time.

The athlete would receive a weekly salary of 2.45 million pounds sterling.

The player transfer window in Saudi Arabia will close on Thursday.
