Former Italian "Serie A" league champion Inter Milan, it seems, will try to keep Argentine Hernan Crespo in their ranks for the next season.
"My agent is doing everything to keep me here," said the 31-year-old forward. "I am optimistic because I see how well the management of Inter Milan is working, which reassures me and makes me feel happy."
In early March, the desire to have the veteran in their ranks again was expressed by London, where H. Crespo played last season and won the Premier League.
"Crespo belongs to us, and we need a forward. I am sure that I will lose Drogba and Kalou, who will go to play in the African Cup of Nations, so I need a forward like Crespo in my Chelsea team," explained the head coach of the London team, Jose Mourinho.
J. Mourinho says he also talked about his plans with the club owner Roman Abramovich, with whom, it is believed, there is discord, and with president Peter Kenyon.
