H. Barnes weighs not playing for England anymore

One friendly match played for England, Harvey Barnes is considering switching national teams.

"The Times" reports that before the 2024 European Championship, Newcastle forward is considering representing Scotland.

According to FIFA rules, a player can do so until they have not played any official matches for their current national team.

In 2020 friendly matches against Wales, H. Barnes played for 17 minutes. Those were his only matches for England.

The Englishman has Scottish grandparents on his mother's side.

Scotland has almost secured a place in the European Championship.
