In the summer, Harry Maguire, who remained at "Manchester United" club, continues to experience a very difficult period.

On Tuesday, the defender stepped onto the field after a substitution in a friendly match between England and Scotland and directed the ball into his own goal.

Such a performance by H. Maguire once again sparked many comments on social media, but the player was defended by the England national team coach Gareth Southgate after the match.

"The way Maguire has been treated recently is regrettable. It seems to have become a certain trend among fans.

I don't remember football experts treating someone else like this. In my opinion, all possible boundaries are being crossed," Southgate said.
